Job Title: Mobile Operations Director

City Group Recruitment is seeking an experienced Mobile Operations Director to lead our Mobile Patrol business unit in the UK.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Mobile Patrol business, ensuring that all aspects of the business are running smoothly and efficiently. This includes managing a team of mobile security officers, overseeing the deployment of mobile patrols, and ensuring that all clients receive excellent service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the P&L of the Mobile Patrol business unit, ensuring all costs are kept to a minimum and the efficiency of patrol routes is maximized.
  • Work with the Chief Operating Officer and other members of the Executive team to develop and implement business strategies to grow the Mobile Patrol business.
  • Monitor and manage the performance of the Mobile Team, ensuring that all staff are fully trained and improving, and that all processes are followed.
  • Implement a safety culture within the driving team, ensuring that all vehicles are fitted with appropriate tracking and safety solutions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve business processes and devise plans to implement these changes.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with sub-contractors and clients.
  • Design, introduce, and implement new service initiatives to improve the overall service delivery of the Mobile Patrol business.
  • Ensure that all sites have Assignment Instructions and clear guidance on how the Mobile Team should carry out their role.
  • Deal with client requests and changes at short notice, ensuring that all commercial proposals are sent in a timely manner and updated once approved.
  • Monitor and manage all vehicles, ensuring that they are properly maintained and equipped.
  • Carry out monthly client meetings (or as required) with Mobile clients, ensuring that all commercial proposals are sent in a timely manner and updated once approved.
Requirements:
  • SIA License and DBS check.
  • Mobile patrol experience is essential for this role.
  • UK driving licence with less than 6 current points.
  • Exceptional attendance.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, including responding to emails and verbal requests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and to work well under pressure.
  • Knowledge of computer programs (MS Office).

The successful candidate will be a self-starter, comfortable working on their own and flexing their hours to manage the business and their team. They will also need to be able to maintain complete confidentiality on the content of the Company business, personnel issues, and other sensitive information.
