About the Role

Rubicon People Partnership are excited to partner with AVIC Cabin Systems to find a Senior Project Lead.

This role presents a unique opportunity for someone with experience in programme management, particularly in complex manufacturing, such as aviation or aerospace. As Senior Project Lead at AVIC Cabin Systems, you will oversee a team of programme and project managers to deliver high-value projects from concept to completion.

The ideal candidate will possess a strategic approach to drive results, have commercial and financial acumen, and excel in building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Salary: £85,000 - £120,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement lean processes to transform the business into a 'Full Product Lifecycle Programs Lead'
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for programme-related escalations from customers and OEMs
  • Provide regular programme performance reports to board level, ensuring contract deliverables and budgets are met
  • Foster collaboration with internal stakeholders and customers to ensure clear communication of programme requirements and timelines
  • Identify and mitigate portfolio risks and issues

Essential Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years in programme management, preferably within complex manufacturing, ideally aviation or aerospace
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills
  • A Project Management qualification
  • A strategic mindset to drive results
  • Commercial and financial acumen
  • Excellent communication skills
