Job Description

In this Higher Education IT Specialist role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing technology solutions to support the student lifecycle. Working closely with stakeholders across the university, you will analyse data to identify opportunities for improvement and develop strategic plans to address these challenges.

Main Responsibilities
  • Design and implement new systems and processes that meet the needs of students and academic staff.
  • Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders, including teaching organisations, support groups, and senior leaders.
  • Analyse data using SQL and technical principles to inform business decisions and drive continuous improvement.
Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrated experience in facilitating successful change management programmes and approaches.
  • A strong understanding of Agile project environments and Human Centred Design or User Experience Design.
  • Practical involvement in business operations within a university environment, specifically in areas supporting the student lifecycle.
  • Experience of SAP Business Objects Business Intelligence Suite.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is £60,000-£70,000 per annum, depending on experience.
