About the Role
Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Nursery Nurse to join our Perinatal Mental Health Service Team - Mother and Baby Unit.
The successful candidate will provide high-quality care and perinatal support to antenatal and post-natal mothers in the ward, working as part of a supportive and nurturing team.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide perinatal support to antenatal and post-natal mothers in the ward.
- Provide high-quality care and emotional support at all times.
- Participate in assessment of needs, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care for mothers and their babies.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to the Trust's Policies and Procedures.
- Support families to understand the baby's perspective.
- Provide practical baby care.
- Support families with common baby issues and signpost as needed.
