About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Nursery Nurse to join our Perinatal Mental Health Service Team - Mother and Baby Unit. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality care and perinatal support to antenatal and post-natal mothers in our ward.

Main Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively as part of a team to provide a supportive and nurturing environment for mothers and their babies.
  • Provide perinatal support and care to mothers, including emotional support and practical assistance with baby care.
  • Participate in assessments, planning, and evaluation of care for mothers and their babies.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to the Trust's policies and procedures.
  • Support families in understanding their baby's perspective and provide guidance on common baby issues.
