About the Role

The Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Nursery Nurse to join the Mother and Baby Unit team. As a key member of the multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality care and perinatal support to antenatal and post-natal mothers in the ward.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide perinatal support to antenatal and post-natal mothers in the ward.
  • Participate in assessment of needs, planning, implementation and evaluation of care for mothers and their babies.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to the Trust's Policies and Procedures.
  • Support families to understand the baby's perspective and provide practical baby care.
  • Signpost families to relevant resources and services as needed.
