About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Portfolio, Finance and Business Management to join our Chief Digital Office within Social Security Scotland.

This is a key leadership role that will play a critical part in shaping the future of our organization and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with senior stakeholders to develop and implement strategic plans for portfolio management, resource allocation, and financial planning.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to prioritize projects, manage resources, and ensure effective financial management.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with senior leaders, staff, and external partners to achieve business objectives.
  • Provide expert financial guidance and support to ensure the effective management of budgets, financial reporting, and risk management.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure the organization remains compliant and competitive.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary between £85,400 - £86,566.
  • A flexible working arrangement with the potential for up to 4 days off per month.
  • An annual leave allowance of 5 weeks, rising to 6 weeks after 4 years, plus 11.5 public and privilege holidays.
