We are seeking an exceptional candidate to join our innovative team at Octagon Group as a Design for Efficiency Specialist.

This dynamic and forward-thinking opportunity involves overseeing first-year production performance, monitoring field performance, and feeding improvements back into the design cycle.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To design and establish robust test processes to optimize production efficiency and ensure product quality.
  • To develop guidelines and checklists to maintain high design standards across electronics, mechanical, and automation systems.
  • To liaise with Purchasing teams to secure reliable, high-quality components that align with production needs.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the Manufacturing sector.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Octagon Group offers a competitive salary, ranging from £65,000 to £85,000 per annum, based on experience and qualifications.
