About the Role

Spencer Clarke Group is seeking a skilled Youth Worker to join their team in East London. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering dynamic projects and programmes that promote the personal and social development of young people.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organise, and deliver youth activities and programmes that align with service goals and objectives.
  • Engage with young people to assess their needs and provide tailored support, including mentoring and coaching.
  • Support young people in developing personal action plans and setting goals for their development.
  • Contribute to the planning of community events and activities designed to engage young people.
  • Create safe and inclusive spaces for young people to participate in recreational activities.

About You:

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience working with young people in a youth work, teaching, or social care setting. You will also have experience working with vulnerable young people, including those with SEND, young carers, or those at risk of gang involvement.

What's on Offer:

  • Competitive hourly rate of £18+ph, with potential for negotiation based on experience.
  • Contract type: 3-6 months minimum, with a high likelihood of extension.
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week.
