About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Lidl in Deutschland as a Area Manager, responsible for leading a team of Store Managers and supporting their growth in the retail industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Visit stores regularly to ensure efficient operations, productivity, and compliance with company standards
  • Mentor and support Store Managers in recruiting, training, and developing their teams, while improving store performance
  • Empower teams to achieve KPIs and maintain high standards
  • Create an environment where teams can excel, shift after shift, in accordance with Leadership & Company Principles

Requirements

  • Past experience motivating and leading teams across multiple sites to achieve outstanding results
  • Ability to understand complex reports, implement next steps, and oversee the effectiveness of new initiatives
  • Drive to learn and stay up-to-date with the ever-changing aspects of our business
  • Effective communication skills to support teams with new launches, concepts, and processes
  • Fully qualified UK Driver
