Academic Support Professional

We are seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a primary school in Edgware on a supply basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about making a real difference in the lives of students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
About the Role:
- Provide tailored support to students with SEN, ensuring their individual needs are met effectively.
- Assist classroom teachers in planning and delivering differentiated lessons to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and encouraged to reach their full potential.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to ongoing assessments to track student progress and inform future interventions.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a SEN Teaching Assistant in Key Stage 1.
- Strong understanding of various SEN conditions and strategies to support students effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Flexibility, patience, and a genuine passion for making a difference in the lives of children with SEN.
Salary Information:
The estimated salary for this role is around £25,000-£30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
