**Job Title:** Supporting EYFS SEND Students
Location: North Birmingham
Type of Work: Working with SEND in mainstream settings
Contract Type: Temporary, Full-time
We are recruiting for a dedicated and compassionate EYFS SEND Teaching Assistant to support children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in mainstream schools in North Birmingham. As an EYFS SEND TA, you will have the opportunity to work in supportive and inclusive environments where every child is given the chance to succeed.
Salary Estimate: £18-22 per hour (dependent on experience)
The ideal candidate will have experience working with students with SEND, ideally in a mainstream school environment. A Level 2 or 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent is also required. You will need to hold a DBS check or be willing to apply for one. We value education and helping students with SEND thrive in a mainstream classroom.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide one-on-one or small group support for students with SEND, helping them access the mainstream curriculum.
- Assist with personal care and mobility for students where necessary.
- Foster social inclusion and assist with peer relationships.
- Experience working with students with SEND in a mainstream school environment.
- Level 2 or 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent.
- DBS check (or willingness to apply).
- Possession of Right to Work in the UK and an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate.
