Supporting SEND Students

Zest Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis in Birmingham. This rewarding role offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young learners and contribute to their educational journey.
Responsibilities- Providing 1:1 support to students with learning difficulties, ensuring their individual needs are met.
- Assisting the class teacher in implementing tailored learning activities and interventions to support students' progress.
- Creating a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Collaborating with colleagues and external professionals to develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies.
- Promoting independence and social skills development among students, encouraging them to reach their full potential.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role previously or possess transferrable qualities from their previous work. The salary for this position is around £25,000-£35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
