Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Statistical Analyst Researcher to join our team at Newcastle University. As a key member of our research group, you will play a crucial role in analysing large complex datasets using advanced statistical methods.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in statistics and data analysis, with excellent knowledge of statistical software packages such as STATA, SPSS, and R. You will be responsible for designing and implementing statistical analysis plans, conducting data analysis, and interpreting results.

A master's degree in medical statistics or a closely related quantitative field is required, along with significant experience in the analysis and delivery of research projects. A strong publication record in applied statistics and ageing is also essential.
