Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced researcher to join our team at Newcastle University. As a Statistical Analyst Researcher, you will play a crucial role in analysing large complex datasets using advanced statistical methods.

You will be responsible for designing and implementing statistical analysis plans, conducting data analysis, and interpreting results. A master's degree in medical statistics or a closely related quantitative field is required, along with significant experience in the analysis and delivery of research projects.

A strong publication record in applied statistics and ageing is also essential. You will have the chance to work with a talented team of researchers and academics, and collaborate on innovative projects that address real-world challenges.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Master's degree in medical statistics or a closely related quantitative field
  • Significant experience in the analysis and delivery of research projects
  • Strong publication record in applied statistics and ageing
  • Excellent knowledge of statistical software packages such as STATA, SPSS, and R
