Research Assistant Position

**About the Role:** We are seeking a talented Research Assistant/Associate to join our team in the Device Materials Group at the University of Cambridge. As a successful candidate, you will work closely with Professor Sohini Kar-Narayan and contribute to the development of functional printed electronic microactuators.
The salary for this position is approximately £32,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and Development:
- Design and develop functional printed electronic microactuators, equipment, and/or methods
- Develop and characterize functional nanomaterial-based inks
You will also be responsible for running equipment in the labs, such as the aerosol jet and 3D printing suite, and assisting with general laboratory management and maintenance.
A PhD degree in an appropriate field, such as Materials Science, or close to thesis submission is required. The candidate must be proficient in the use of aerosol-jet printer, 3D SLA printers, electrical probe station, and scanning electron microscopy.
As a highly motivated candidate, you will have an opportunity to take an active role in experimental design and expand your research skills.
