Apprentice SEN Support Professional

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to support children with special educational needs in Exeter. As an Apprentice SEN Support Professional, you will work directly with children, helping them thrive academically and personally.
About the Role- Job Title: Apprentice SEN Support Professional
- Location: Exeter
- Salary: £18,000 - £22,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
This apprenticeship offers hands-on experience, making a real impact, and a valuable qualification in SEN support. You will be based in a school environment, working directly with experienced SEN staff to develop essential skills for diverse learning needs.
Key Responsibilities- Support children with special educational needs in a positive and inclusive environment
- Develop and implement strategies to promote self-belief, social inclusion, and confidence in pupils
- Work closely with teachers and other support staff to ensure seamless support for all pupils
- Qualifications: GCSEs or equivalent ( Grade C/4 or above in English and Maths)
- Skills: Patience, compassion, and dedication to supporting children with SEN
- Personal Qualities: Friendly, approachable, and able to build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
