SEN Teaching Assistant Role

GSL Education is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a school in a full-time, long-term capacity. This role is ideal for individuals who are enthusiastic about helping children with additional needs and fostering their academic and personal development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one or small group support for students with special educational needs.
- Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering personalised learning activities.
- Help manage classroom behaviour and encourage a positive learning environment.
- Support students' emotional wellbeing and help them build confidence in their abilities.
Requirements:
- Have experience working with children with special educational needs in the UK.
- Be patient, understanding, and adaptable.
- Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills with pupils, staff, and parents.
- Have a valid Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one.
