Respiratory Medicine Clinical Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Locum Consultant in Respiratory Medicine to join our team at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and supervision to junior medical staff and multi-professional trainees.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in respiratory medicine and excellent leadership skills. You will be responsible for providing cross-cover for annual/study leave and short-term sickness for other consultants in the department, as agreed within the teams.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical leadership and supervision to junior medical staff and multi-professional trainees.
- Provide cross-cover for annual/study leave and short-term sickness for other consultants in the department.
- Contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the improvement of patient care.
Requirements:
- Eligibility for GMC registration.
- Strong background in respiratory medicine.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
