Respiratory Medicine Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Research Fellow to join our team at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the planning, set up, and implementation of new research studies within the Respiratory theme of our Biomedical Research Centre.
Main Responsibilities- Assist with the planning and implementation of research studies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and good clinical practice.
- Manage ethics and regulatory submissions, working closely with study principal investigators and research teams.
- Conduct risk assessments and feasibility studies to ensure the smooth execution of research projects.
- Identify and recruit participants for research studies, ensuring their eligibility and informed consent.
- Collaborate with research teams to develop and implement quality improvement projects and formal research projects.

Person Specification- Medical degree and full registration with the General Medical Council.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in respiratory medicine, with a strong interest in respiratory infection and/or immunology.
- Good clinical practice for research training and Royal College membership.
- Excellent organisation, communication, and team working skills.
