Job Title: HR Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead our Human Resources team in a not-for-profit organisation located near Newbury. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing general HR operations and implementing strategic HR initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the HR team in daily operations
  • Plan and implement strategic HR initiatives
  • Develop and oversee HR policies and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations
  • Manage recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes
  • Handle employee relations and resolve conflicts
  • Conduct performance and talent management
  • Oversee training and development programs

Requirements:

  • A degree in Human Resources or related field
  • Proven experience as a HR Manager
  • Recruitment experience
  • Excellent knowledge of employment legislation and regulations
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Good understanding of HR functions and best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in HR software
