At Wood Mackenzie Ltd, we're seeking a seasoned Engineering Manager to lead our data-focused team. As a key member of our organization, you'll be responsible for driving the implementation and delivery of our products roadmap, ensuring high-quality engineering practices, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Support and grow our engineering talent, bringing new engineers into the team and helping them have successful careers.
  2. Align engineering strategy with product roadmaps, ensuring seamless collaboration between teams.
  3. Define and implement our engineering strategy, driving company-wide improvements and best practices.
  4. Provide guidance and support to other engineering leaders, helping them optimize team performance.
  5. Help build and nurture a culture of continuous improvement, engineering maturity, and innovation.

We're looking for a leader who can inspire and motivate their team, drive technical excellence, and make informed decisions that align with our company's goals. If you have a passion for data engineering, a strong technical background, and excellent leadership skills, we'd love to hear from you.

Requirements

  1. Proven experience leading high-performing engineering teams.
  2. Strong technical expertise in data engineering, with a focus on Python, AWS, and data platforms.
  3. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  4. Able to drive technical excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team.
