Job Title: Senior Data Engineering Manager

Best Buy Health is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineering Manager to lead our data & analytics engineering team. As a key member of our data organization, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovative data solutions that improve healthcare delivery across our business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and inspire a team of data engineers to deliver high-quality data solutions that meet business needs.
  • Manage and integrate technologies across cloud and open-source platforms, including Snowflake, Redshift, dbt, Airflow, NiFi, and Databricks.
  • Collaborate with data science, product, and engineering teams to ensure alignment with our overall data strategy.
  • Oversee projects focused on data generated during care delivery, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of data solutions.
  • Ensure data is cleaned, processed, harmonized, and curated in alignment with industry standards.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Health Informatics, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 3 years of management experience, including experience in a matrix environment.
  • Experience with Python, dbt, Airflow, and SQL.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams in dynamic environments.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with teams across different geographic regions.
  • Experience working in a constantly transforming organization and managing change effectively.
  • Significant experience working with healthcare data from hospitals, care delivery, or electronic health records.
