About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Data Engineering Manager to lead our data & analytics engineering team in the UK. As a key member of our data organization, you will play a crucial role in improving healthcare delivery across the Best Buy Health business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and inspire the UK-based data & analytics engineering team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Manage and integrate technologies across a spectrum of cloud and open-source technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with the company's overall data strategy.
  • Oversee projects focused on data generated during care delivery, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of data solutions.
  • Ensure data is cleaned, processed, harmonized, and curated in alignment with industry standards.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Health Informatics, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 3 years management experience, including experience in a matrix environment.
  • Experience in the following technologies: Python, dbt, Airflow, SQL.
