The Head of Digital Service Delivery position is responsible for overseeing the Digital Service Desk, Asset Management, Change Management, and incident/Problem Management. In this role, you will have the opportunity to drive transformational change and deliver cost-effective digital services that support our core purpose of Working together to achieve the healthiest life possible for everyone in Scotland.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Leading the Digital Service Desk team to ensure seamless delivery of critical IT services.
  2. Developing and implementing effective Asset Management strategies to optimize IT resources.
  3. Managing Change and incident/Problem Management processes to minimize disruptions and ensure business continuity.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Educated to master's level or equivalent, with demonstrable senior management experience within a large complex organization.
  • Management training and development/Record of Continuous Professional Development.
  • Demonstrable senior management experience, including experience within a large and complex organization.
  • Track record of successful operational IT service delivery within a large, complex organization.

Hours: 37 per week

UK Driving Licence/Car Ownership: UK driving licence/Car ownership is essential to this role.
