Specialist Learning Support Worker

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care and Education Worker (SEMHA) to join our team at Springwell Alternative Academy. The successful candidate will provide high-quality support to students with SEMH needs, working closely with our experienced teaching staff to deliver a bespoke education program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students with SEMH needs, promoting their emotional and academic well-being
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, staff, and parents
- Contribute to the development and delivery of individualized education plans
- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills
Requirements:
- GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths
- Relevant experience working with students with SEMH needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work flexibly and as part of a team
Working Arrangements:
33 hours per week, term-time only (5 inset days).
