Support Worker for Young Man with Learning Disabilities

About the Role:
We are looking for a committed and reliable individual to provide support for a young man who lives at home with his family. The person you will be supporting has learning disabilities and mild physical disabilities, and requires assistance with day-to-day activities, therapies, and personal care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide support with personal safety and wellbeing, medication, and healthy and nutritional balanced diet.
• Assist with mobility and personal care to ensure the client's safety and welfare is maintained.
• Engage the client in activities such as music, Tik Tok, cooking, and walking his dog.
• Write detailed notes on a day-to-day basis.
• Hold a full clean driving licence and be able to obtain insurance for the client's vehicle.
Working Hours:
Initially 14 hours per week, with varying shifts including weekdays and weekends.
Rate of Pay:
Weekday £14.00 per hour, Weekend £15.00 per hour, Night Rate (weekend) £15.00 per hour, Sleep-in rate £11.44 per hour.
Requirements:
NVQ 2 is desirable, previous experience working within care and with behaviors that may challenge is desirable, but full training and support will be given.
