We are currently seeking a skilled Teaching Assistant to join our team at a specialist SEN provision in Barnsley. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting children with diverse needs to achieve their full potential.

Your key responsibilities will include offering one-to-one or small group support tailored to individual needs, assisting teachers with lesson delivery and classroom activities, and helping to create a safe, stimulating, and supportive environment for learning.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a relevant Level 3 qualification, previous experience as a teaching assistant or in a care role, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You should be patient, compassionate, and adaptable, with a genuine desire to support children with special educational needs.
