Child and Young Person Placement Coordinator

As a Senior Practitioner within our Fostering Marketing, Recruitment and Assessment Team, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals dedicated to improving the lives of children and young people. You will be responsible for promoting high-quality fostering resources, recruiting, assessing, supervising, training, and supporting foster carers in their placements.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about fostering and wants to make a difference in the lives of vulnerable children and young people. You will be working closely with the Deputy Team Manager and Team Manager to deliver high-quality fostering services and promote LBC values, qualities, and standards. If you have the skills, experience, and passion required for this role, we encourage you to apply.
Key Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have substantial post-qualifying experience in fostering, a high level of competence in the field, and strong communication and interpersonal skills. You should also be able to demonstrate a commitment to delivering high-quality services and improving outcomes for children and young people. A degree in social work or a related field is preferred, but not essential.
