Job Details:

We are working with an 'Outstanding' Ofsted rated SEN School in Christchurch, Dorset to recruit a Primary Teaching Assistant (SEN).

The ideal candidate will be supportive, non-judgmental, patient, and flexible. They must be able to build trusting relationships with pupils by speaking to them in a manner that encourages and supports their development.

  • Must be driven to motivate the pupil and increase his participation.
  • Experience supporting an individual with Autism is required.
  • Willingness to complete Safeguarding online training is necessary.

Estimated Salary: £27,715 per annum based on 39 weeks of term-time employment.

Eligibility Requirements:
  1. Holding the right to work in the UK is essential.
  2. An enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or willingness to process a new application is required.
  3. Two professional child-related references must be provided.
