We are working with Contract Scotland to find an experienced Geospatial Analyst to join their team in East Lothian.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled GIS professional to work on complex, high-value projects and contribute to the growth of the company.

The ideal candidate will have experience in spatial analysis, geospatial data management, and collaboration with project teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough spatial analysis and provide accurate and relevant geospatial information to support project planning and decision-making.
  • Create detailed maps, reports, and visualizations to meet project requirements.
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to integrate geospatial data into project workflows.
  • Perform quality assurance and validation to ensure accuracy and reliability of spatial data.
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of geospatial databases and systems.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Geography, GIS, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS).
  • At least 5 years' experience in the field.
  • Previous experience in an engineering or related field is an advantage but not necessary.
