**Job Summary**

Deichmann is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Manager to join our team. As a Cover Store Manager, you will be responsible for supporting our store in Croydon and other stores in the surrounding area.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • **Motivate and Coach the Team**: Lead by example and motivate the team to deliver excellent customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers.
  • **Lead by Example**: Promote and upsell products, demonstrating a thorough understanding of our products and services.
  • **Rota Management**: Draft and manage rotas in line with payroll budgets, ensuring efficient use of staff resources.
  • **Stock Management**: Oversee stock levels, ensuring accurate inventory management and minimizing stock discrepancies.
  • **Sales Analysis**: Analyze sales figures and reports, identifying trends and opportunities for growth.
  • **Company Standards**: Ensure all company standards are implemented and maintained, including merchandising, administration, and customer service.
  • **Target Achievement**: Work towards targets and hit company Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • **Team Development**: Assist with the recruitment and development of the team, providing coaching and guidance to ensure team members reach their full potential.

**Personal Qualities:**

  • **Hands-on Leadership**: Proven experience in retail or a related industry sector, with a strong ability to lead and motivate teams.
  • **Positive Attitude**: A flexible and positive approach, with a can-do attitude and a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • **Pressure Management**: Ability to work under pressure in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
  • **Motivation and Coaching**: Confidence and ability to motivate, coach, and inspire the team to achieve their best.
  • **Strong Communication**: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders.
  • **Methodical and Organized**: Strong organizational skills, with a structured approach to work and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
  • **Numeracy Skills**: Strong numeracy skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • **Driving License**: A full UK driving license is preferred, due to the travel involved.

**Salary and Benefits:**

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £32,000 per annum, plus a range of benefits and opportunities for career development.
