About the Role

Deichmann is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Operations Manager to join our team as a Cover Store Manager. This is a full-time, permanent position that requires flexibility to work across the week.

Key Responsibilities
  • Motivate and coach the team to deliver exceptional customer service and sales results.
  • Lead by example in promoting and upselling products, ensuring a positive and engaging shopping experience for customers.
  • Draft and manage rotas, ensuring payroll budgets are met and team members are utilized effectively.
  • Oversee stock management, including inventory control and replenishment.
  • Analyze sales figures and reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Ensure all company standards are implemented and maintained, including merchandising, administration, and store appearance.
  • Work closely with the management team to achieve company targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Assist with the recruitment and development of the team, providing coaching and training to support their growth and success.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Store Manager or in a similar retail management role.
  • Strong leadership and motivational skills, with the ability to inspire and coach the team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and customers.
  • Methodical and organized approach to work, with a focus on attention to detail and quality.
  • Strong numeracy skills and ability to analyze sales data and reports.
  • Full UK driving license preferred, due to the travel involved in this role.
