Job Title: Senior System Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior System Engineer to join our team at Motorola Solutions. As a Senior System Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing complex system architectures, ensuring the security and integrity of our systems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement system architectures that meet business requirements and ensure scalability, security, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize system requirements and develop solutions that meet those needs.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, including design documents, technical specifications, and user manuals.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues, working with internal teams and external vendors as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying that knowledge to improve system design and implementation.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of system design principles, including scalability, security, and reliability.
  • Experience with VMware and NSX, Microsoft Server Family, and network principles, WAN technologies, routing, and Global Load balancing.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft SQL and experience with SIP technologies, including WebRTC.
  • Experience with architecting or supporting Azure and strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong business/customer-facing experience and ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
