About the Role

This position plays a vital role in the business and administration team, as part of the KierBAM Joint Venture. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the employee lifecycle, ensuring the smooth operation of project-specific HR processes at Hinkley Point C.

Your Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support across all stages of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, employment changes, and offboarding.
  • Liaise with the HR Manager to ensure compliance with site policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Coordinate new starter inductions, processing paperwork and right-to-work documentation in a timely manner.
  • Manage HR-related correspondence, such as letters and reports.
  • Support the team with payroll administration, tracking absences and processing changes to employee details.
  • Respond to employee queries regarding site processes, policies, and systems in a professional and helpful manner.
Requirements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a friendly approachable demeanor.
  • Ability to work effectively within a small team, while being proactive and independent in completing tasks.
  • High level of attention to detail, due to the nuclear regulatory environment.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
