About the Position

We are looking for an exceptional Community Welfare Advocate to join our Adults' Localities Team in Doncaster, South Yorkshire. As a seasoned Social Worker, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality support services to individuals and families in need.

Job Responsibilities
  • Undertake comprehensive assessments of needs and risks for adults in the community.
  • Collaborate with service users, their families, and other professionals to develop and implement effective care and support plans.
  • Offer expert guidance on local services and resources to empower individuals to reach their full potential.
  • Ensure the safeguarding of vulnerable adults by reporting any concerns appropriately.
  • Engage in continuous professional development through supervision, training, and team meetings.
  • Maintain adherence to professional standards and ethical principles of social work.

Essential Requirements

  • Demonstrated expertise in relevant social work legislation, policies, and procedures.
  • Substantial post-qualification experience in adult social work.
  • A CQSW / DIPSW / Degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification is required.
  • Registration with Social Work England (SWE) is a necessity.
  • A valid full driving licence and access to a car are mandatory for this role.
