The City of Doncaster Council seeks a dedicated Child Welfare Specialist to join our team.

Job Description

This rewarding role involves working with children and families in the Doncaster area, providing support to social work professionals. As a Child Welfare Specialist, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable children and their parents.

The successful candidate will have experience working with children and parents in challenging circumstances, excellent communication skills, and the ability to transport children as needed. You will be part of a supportive team and work flexibly to meet the demands of the role.

As a Child Welfare Specialist, you will work with confidential information and adhere to Safeguarding and Data Protection guidelines at all times. This is a 6-day service provision role that requires flexibility and adaptability.

Requirements
  • Experience working with vulnerable children and parents
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to transport children as needed
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience. Our benefits package includes opportunities for professional development and a supportive work environment.
