Job Title: Workplace Hazard Control Specialist

We are seeking a highly experienced Workplace Hazard Control Specialist to support our pharmaceutical client in Northumberland. This is a site-based contract position lasting 6 months, working inside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, assess, and evaluate solutions to control workplace health hazards and manage associated risk to health.
  • Conduct hygiene assessments within the pharmaceutical industry or similar with a strong understanding of workplace health hazards and control measures.
  • Undertake measurements for chemical agents, noise, vibration, thermal environment, and non-ionising radiation, interpreting results, planning and organising surveys, and developing sampling strategies in accordance with established guidance and protocols.

Requirements:

  • Qualification in Occupational Hygienist or related field, preferably with CMIOSH or BOSH certification.
  • Proven experience in conducting hygiene assessments within the pharmaceutical industry or similar.

Estimated Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum
