Lead Test Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Test Engineer to join our team at ABD Solutions. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing automated test equipment to verify the functionality and robustness of our autonomy stack.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead the validation and verification strategy for our products, ensuring that all elements of the autonomy stack are thoroughly tested.
  • Design and implement highly automated test equipment to verify the functionality and robustness of sub-systems, including actuators, controllers, and software.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize test cases, ensuring that all aspects of the autonomy stack are thoroughly tested.
  • Manage defect detection, tracking, and resolution through our integrated toolchains.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in software or mechatronics engineering, or equivalent experience in a relevant engineering sector.
  • Demonstrated experience designing system tests for commercial or automotive products, or industrial machinery.
  • Expert knowledge of developing test applications in Python.
  • Experience in integrating automated test harnesses to continuous build & test servers, such as Jenkins or TeamCity.
  • Experience in robotics, electro/mechanical systems, and industrial automation systems.
