Job Title: Lead Test Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Test Engineer to support the verification and validation of our autonomy stack. This role involves developing highly automated test equipment to automatically verify all parts of the autonomy stack, including functional, functional safety, and cyber security requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the Validation and Verification Strategy for our products, leading planning efforts for each phase of the V&V life cycle.
- Derive test cases to demonstrate the functionality and robustness of sub-systems comprising actuators, controllers, and software.
- Develop highly automated test equipment to automatically verify all elements of the autonomy stack.
- Undertake on-vehicle testing and evaluation at our test sites and at remote locations worldwide.
- Manage defect detection, tracking, and resolution through JIRA and integrated toolchains.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or master's in software or mechatronics engineering, or equivalent experience in a relevant engineering sector.
- Demonstrable experience designing system tests for commercial or automotive products, or industrial machinery.
- Expert knowledge of developing test applications in Python.
- Experience in integrating automated test harnesses to continuous build & test servers, such as Jenkins or TeamCity.
- Experience in robotics, electro/mechanical systems, and industrial automation systems.
