Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to join our team in the ownership and development of the Systems Definition for our retrofit autonomous systems. As a key member of our cross-functional team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of these projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Drive the design and development of innovative off-highway autonomous test equipment systems to production, implementing redundancy strategies to enhance their robustness and reliability.
  • Requirements Management: Work closely with stakeholders to define and document system requirements, ensuring a clear understanding of functionality, performance, and safety criteria.
  • Project Planning and Coordination: Collaborate with the Project Management team to plan, prioritise, manage resource allocation, and oversee project activities, ensuring adherence to schedules and budget constraints.
  • Testing and Validation: Help develop and execute comprehensive testing plans, including functional, performance, and safety testing, to validate system behaviours under various conditions.
  • Documentation: Create comprehensive technical documentation for system requirements, design specifications, and test plans.
Requirements
  • Technical Background: A technical background – for example an Engineering Degree or related field.
  • Systems Engineering Tools: Proficiency in systems engineering tools and methodologies, such as SysML and requirements traceability.
  • Automotive Standards: Familiarity with automotive standards, protocols, and test methodologies is highly desirable.
  • Project Management Skills: Solid project management skills, with the ability to lead and coordinate multifunctional teams.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and debug complex systems.
