Administrative Support Assistant

Appointment is at Grade 3 level.
The role includes providing business support to the Central Administration Team based at Hull City Council. This involves answering telephone calls and redirecting them to the relevant member of staff, meeting and greeting contractors and suppliers, processing financial transactions, retrieving archived childcare paper and electronic records, arranging bookings for pool cars, and liaising with Fleet Management regarding servicing and fault logging of the cars.
The post holder will provide flexible, effective, efficient, and customer-focused support services ensuring compliance with procedures and practices to support the delivery of efficient front-line services. The post holder will also provide support to the Service Support Manager as required and be willing to work and provide cover at other Children's citywide locations.
