Autism Support Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Autism Support Assistant to join our team at a specialist school in Oxford. The successful candidate will work closely with our experienced educators and multi-disciplinary team to provide personalized support to children with Autism.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate and provide specific interventions to aid in the children's learning
  • Ensure a safe and secure environment for learning to take place
  • Encourage students to achieve their academic and personal goals
  • Monitor and track student progress
  • Have a good understanding of safeguarding principles
Requirements:
  • Kind, caring, and compassionate nature
  • Determination to make a positive impact on the lives of students
  • Patience and ability to adapt approach to meet individual needs
  • Experience working with children and children with SEN an advantage
  • Enhanced DBS check required
