Job Title: Intervention Support Worker

Academics is seeking a highly skilled Intervention Support Worker to join our team at a specialist school in Headington.

We are committed to providing a supportive and structured learning environment for students with Autism, and we need a dedicated professional to help us achieve this goal.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in creating and maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment
  • Collaborate with teachers, ABA Therapists, and parents to adapt learning materials to meet the needs of students
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents
  • Participate in training and professional development to enhance skills
  • Foster positive relationships with students, promoting trust and emotional safety
  • Assist with classroom activities, ensuring students are engaged and participating

Requirements:

  • A positive attitude and empathy towards students
  • Good behavior management skills and confidence to support the classroom
  • Previous experience with children with Autism is an advantage but not essential
