Intervention Support Professional

Academics is seeking a highly skilled Intervention Support Worker to join our team at a specialist school in Headington.
We are committed to providing a supportive and structured learning environment for students with Autism, and we need a dedicated professional to help us achieve this goal.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in creating and maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment
- Collaborate with teachers, ABA Therapists, and parents to adapt learning materials to meet the needs of students
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents
- Participate in training and professional development to enhance skills
- Foster positive relationships with students, promoting trust and emotional safety
- Assist with classroom activities, ensuring students are engaged and participating
Requirements:
- A positive attitude and empathy towards students
- Good behavior management skills and confidence to support the classroom
- Previous experience with children with Autism is an advantage but not essential
