Job Title: Intervention Support Worker

Location: Headington

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £75-£90 per day

About the Role:

The successful candidate will work in a specialist school in Headington, supporting students with Autism and other social, emotional, and mental health needs. The role involves creating a safe and structured learning environment, collaborating with teachers and ABA therapists, and providing feedback to parents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in creating and maintaining a safe and structured learning environment
  • Collaborate with teachers, ABA therapists, and parents to adapt learning materials
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents
  • Participate in training and professional development to enhance skills
  • Foster positive relationships with students, promoting trust and emotional safety
  • Assist with classroom activities, ensuring students are engaged and participating
Requirements:
  • A positive attitude
  • Empathy and compassion
  • Good behavior management skills
  • Confidence to support the classroom
  • Previous experience with children with Autism an advantage but not essential
