Job Title: Category Executive

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Category Executive to join our team at Mackenzie Jones. As a Category Executive, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of category strategies across various channels, including Tesco and Waitrose.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Category Lead for Tesco and the broader commercial teams to deliver long-term sustainable growth.
  • Develop and implement category strategies to drive sales and market share growth.
  • Manage the range review process, including recommendations and performance reviews.
  • Be the go-to expert for Waitrose World Foods internally and externally, strengthening the ABWF/Waitrose relationship and increasing the presence of ABWF brands.
  • Develop and maintain internal reports and tools to support category insights and decision-making.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of category management experience in an FMCG environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop compelling stories to influence stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and partnership-building skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
