At D-Orbit, we're seeking a highly skilled Spacecraft Systems Engineer to join our growing team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for the design, development, and testing of spacecraft systems.

With a strong background in system engineering principles and spacecraft subsystems, you will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the successful development of our spacecraft systems.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Contributing to the development of system architecture and subsystems design
  • Working with a team of specialists on system and subsystem design
  • System and subsystem budgeting
  • Supporting stakeholder/mission/project requirements capturing and management
  • Interface with and support AIV team and related activities
  • Interface with manufacturing
  • Supporting the system test plan, procedures, and setup definition
  • Authoring of Technical Documents

Requirements include:

  • Knowledge of System Engineering principles and system-level knowledge of all spacecraft subsystems
  • Knowledge of data busses architectures
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proactive attitude and ability to work in a team
  • Experience in the use of Matlab and Python
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel
