Job DescriptionThe Payroll and Benefits Officer (Hybrid) role is a key position within our HR team, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our payroll and benefits processes.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the primary point of contact for payroll and benefits-related queries and issues.
- Manage the end-to-end payroll process for approximately 500 employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with external payroll providers.
- Administer new starter and leaver processes, contractual changes, and maternity and paternity leave.
- Oversee benefits, pension, and well-being content available to employees on our intranet.
- Produce insightful payroll and HR analytics to inform business decisions.
- Support the Total Rewards Manager and HR Director in developing the global compensation and benefits agenda.
- Assist with HR metrics, including headcount, turnover, and absence.
- Stay up-to-date with market trends and best practices, working with the Total Rewards Manager to plan and implement benefit plans and well-being initiatives.
- Collaborate with finance colleagues to ensure accurate financial postings and budget reports.
- At least 2+ years of previous payroll experience, preferably in-house from a large business.
- Intermediate Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.
- SAP experience is a plus.
- Basic benefits, reward, and HR experience is desirable.
- A competitive salary of £35,000 - £42,000.
- 10% bonus.
