We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Officer (Hybrid) to join our team in Weybridge. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end payroll process for approximately 500 employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with external payroll providers.
Key Responsibilities- Be the primary point of contact for payroll and benefits-related policies and processes, providing guidance to employees and the local HR team.
- Manage the weekly and monthly payroll process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, ensuring they are up-to-date and compliant.
- Administer new starter and leaver processes, contractual changes, maternity and paternity leave, and other employee benefits.
- Ensure accuracy of employee records and benefit plan documents, including enrolment materials, plan documents, and contracts.
- Manage employee benefits processes, including purchase orders and invoicing.
- Produce insightful payroll and HR analytics to inform business decisions.
- Support the Total Rewards Manager and HR Director in developing the global compensation and benefits agenda.
- Stay up-to-date with market trends, best practices, and work with the Total Rewards Manager to plan, develop, and implement benefit plans and wellbeing initiatives.
- At least 2+ years of payroll experience, preferably in-house payroll from a large business.
- Intermediate Excel skills, including V look-ups and pivot tables.
- ADP GlobalView experience is a plus, but not essential.
- SAP experience is a plus, but not essential.
- Basic benefits, reward, and HR experience is a plus, but not essential.
- Base salary of £35-38,000, plus 10% bonus.
- Bupa private health insurance.
- Pension with 6% employer contribution.
- Free parking.
- Gym on-site.
- 37 hours per week.
- 25 days holiday + 8 days BH.
