Job Summary:

Spinwell Global Limited is seeking a highly skilled Payroll and/or Pension Officer to join our team. As a key member of our payroll department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll and pension-related activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. To oversee the processing of payroll and pension-related activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  2. To provide exceptional customer service to employees and stakeholders, maintaining a high level of accountability and accuracy in all payroll-related activities.
  3. To hold responsibility for providing technical expertise in payroll processing, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  4. To serve as the primary point of contact for all payroll inquiries, ensuring a positive and supportive experience for employees.
  5. To supervise the work of junior payroll staff, providing guidance and support where required.
  6. To oversee the accuracy and quality of payroll/pension processing.
  7. To support the training and onboarding efforts of new team members.
  8. To identify and support process improvement initiatives to enhance overall payroll operations.

Requirements:

  1. Educated to A level or equivalent, or able to evidence ability at an equivalent level.
  2. Relevant HR, Management, business administration or financial qualification to NVQ Level 3/4, or able to evidence knowledge and understanding of relevant disciplines.
  3. Previous relevant work experience.
  4. Experience of maintaining and improving business/database systems/secretarial processes and systems (as appropriate).
